Albert Tumpson's experience includes all phases of transactional, litigation and regulatory work as both in-house and outside counsel. As a former FDIC Regional Counsel for the Western Region of the United States, he has handled matters having national impact. He has learned from long experience that it is an attorney's analytical ability that matters most when serving the interest of a client, and, when done well, produces the best results, whether in a litigation or transactional context.
SIZE MATTERS
Albert Tumpson is a solo practitioner. As Regional Counsel for the FDIC, he was charged with overseeing the activities of over 300 outside law firms and came to appreciate the measures some big firms take to maximize fees. Because of this he learned, from the client's perspective, how important it is to control legal costs. Thus, there will be no charges for consultations between attorneys or group attendance at meetings or hearings because there is only one attorney in the firm.
